The Unit for Multilingualism and Integration (EFI) is a shared support function for all schools in Laholm Municipality. EFI is responsible for receiving and assessing newly arrived students, mother tongue instruction, and study guidance for newly arrived students. About the Position As a study guide instructor, you support students in their language and knowledge development using their mother tongue and serve as a cultural and linguistic bridge. You do this, among other things, through close collaboration with the student's mentor and teaching instructors. The position includes planning and following up on study guidance in collaboration with subject teachers, mentors and other pedagogical staff based on the student's and subject's needs. The role also includes, when needed, orientation support in preschool and preschool classes. Are You the Person We're Looking For? Requirements for the position are that you have a high school diploma. You have excellent skills in Swedish and Icelandic, both written and verbal, as well as knowledge of various school subjects. You can and are willing to work in both primary and secondary school. Pedagogical education and/or education in mother tongue study guidance, as well as experience with study guidance in Swedish primary and secondary school, are merits. As a person, you take initiative, have good collaboration skills, are confident, flexible, positive and engaged. A requirement for the position is that you have a driver's license; having your own vehicle is a merit.
