Job Description
As a career and academic advisor, you will have a rewarding and challenging assignment where you are responsible for guiding people toward employment through education. You will conduct guidance conversations with municipality residents and students, work with admissions, develop individual study plans based on each person's goals and circumstances, and plan and compile documentation as needed for upper secondary school diplomas or final grades. You appreciate development work, have a flexible approach, and are willing to try new methods. You also participate in outreach activities and collaborate with various stakeholders, such as employment agencies, other municipalities, and other actors, to ensure that our target groups are informed and motivated to study within adult education. You collaborate with other career and academic advisors and other school staff within the organization to ensure that guidance flows as a continuous thread throughout the school. The work takes place on-site at our facilities in Kungsängen.
Who We Are Looking For
You have a career and academic advisor degree. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in adult education both as a provider and as a school authority. We are now strengthening our own operations and are in the midst of a change process where we will become part of Vux Norrort. You will enter a situation where you have a great opportunity to shape and influence our journey forward.
Since the role involves active dialogue with students/residents, colleagues, and school management, you need to be communicative and skilled at building good relationships. You also have good digital knowledge. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability and personal qualities such as initiative, solution-focused mindset, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
About the Position
This is a full-time position. Probationary employment may be applied. Start date by agreement.
