Each year we deliver high-quality education to Stockholm's citizens. Our schools are currently located in the districts of Järva, Skärholmen, Liljeholmen, and Södermalm.
In our work to give each student good conditions to move forward in their studies, we strengthen support with student-centered assistance. Enhanced support that should help students both individually and in groups, when starting studies as well as during their studies. Your Role
We are now looking for an engaged and qualified career and education counselor who has experience with SFI but can also work with basic courses, vocational training, and upper secondary courses. The work involves close collaboration with other career and education counselors, teachers, special education teachers, specialist teachers, and other professionals to give students the support they need.
The most common tasks are to:
* guide students, both on an individual and group level, on questions related to work and studies
* visit SFI classes to discuss education options after SFI
* participate in the orientation of new students
The work may involve travel and work at all units in our region.
Your Competence and Experience
You must be a qualified career and education counselor.
You must have experience working as a career and education counselor in adult education, especially within SFI.
As a person, you are goal- and results-oriented and structured. You are flexible, creative, development-focused, and have excellent collaboration skills. You are a clear pedagogical leader engaged in adult learning and have a clear salutogenic perspective. We place great importance on personal suitability.
