Career and Academic Advisor at AcadeMedia Guidance in Stockholm 100% We are now opening a position for a new colleague at our central unit in Stockholm as one of our current staff members is taking parental leave. We have over 10 years of experience in guidance at our schools and work in close collaboration with each school to ensure that assignments are anchored and reasonably designed. Your work is planned together with your direct supervisor and the school's principal. Through clear job descriptions and annual planning cycles, we create structure, sustainability, and good conditions for working with career and academic guidance. As part of AcadeMedia Guidance, you will be part of an engaged and cohesive group of career and academic advisors, both locally in Stockholm and nationally. We meet regularly for experience sharing and professional development and we share materials and working methods with each other. Our quality work is structured, and we develop our operations together with a focus on guidance that reflects students' needs. You will be part of this Do you want to help make Sweden a little better? At AcadeMedia, we work every day to help people grow throughout the entire education chain. You will be employed centrally at AcadeMedia Guidance and will work as a career and academic advisor with placement at a upper secondary school 80% in central Stockholm and at a smaller primary school 20% in Sundbyberg. In this role, you will work with both general guidance in collaboration with school staff and with individual guidance as well as information initiatives for students at the school. For us, it is important that new employees get a really good start, which is why everyone here receives a mentor as a sounding board and support. What we are looking for We are looking for someone with a degree in career and academic guidance. Experience from working at both primary and upper secondary schools is a merit. You work according to guidance's ethical guidelines and find it easy to build trust and develop relationships with students, guardians, and school staff. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and are confident in using digital tools. As a person, you are organized, responsible, and have good collaboration skills.
