The Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine (KIT) operation conducts activities at ten hospitals in Scania and has over 200 employees. The operation is responsible for laboratory work in clinical immunology, transfusion medicine, and transplantation immunology, as well as blood donation services in Scania. KIT has a mission to provide the healthcare system in Region Scania with high-quality blood components to enable modern healthcare for acute and chronic conditions. The operation is accredited, and certain parts are centralized to Lund. We are organized in processes with unit managers, medical directors, and process leaders working closely together.

JOB DUTIES
As a biomedical analyst with us, you'll have varied and meaningful work where meeting with blood donors is central. We work with blood donor recruitment, blood donation, and blood component production. You'll be responsible for the entire blood donation process from receiving and assessing donors to conducting the donation and following up on the donor's well-being during and after the donation. As a biomedical analyst, you'll have the opportunity to combine lab work with service-oriented work in blood donation and donor recruitment. The tasks are varied, and there are great opportunities to take on increased responsibility for, for example, a process or area, thereby expanding your knowledge and experience.
Work hours are primarily scheduled on weekdays during daytime. The goal is for you to work one evening shift every other week, but based on operational needs, one evening shift per week may occur. The position may also include Saturday work, but no more than four times per year. Kristianstad is your placement location, but assignments in Hässleholm occur to a lesser extent.
This position is a one-year fixed-term employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you if you have completed and passed at least the fourth term of the biomedical analyst program. In addition, strong Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are required for the position. You are interested in working with both blood donors and laboratory work.
As a person, you have good collaboration skills and communication abilities. You are naturally service-oriented toward our blood donors, customers, and colleagues. The work requires that you can work flexibly and bring a good and pleasant atmosphere to the work group. When filling this position, great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
