The goal is to increase the number of Swedish and international applicants to courses and programs. The student ambassador program is a central part of the faculty's student recruitment efforts. We are now looking for an engaged student employee who will support the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the ambassador program. You will plan the work for our Swedish and international student ambassadors. The scope of the work varies throughout the academic year; an approximate scope is 15 percent of full-time. Several colleagues at the faculty office who work with student recruitment will be available as support. Duties Maintain ongoing contact with our student ambassadors, assist with introduction, compensation, and travel booking Schedule student ambassadors and study advisors' participation in various student recruitment activities Schedule and plan ambassadors' participation in various internal events Follow up on participation at various fairs and events. Qualifications To work as a student employee, you must be conducting ongoing full-time studies in one of the Faculty of Science and Engineering's education programs or courses. You must have completed approved studies equivalent to at least 60 higher education credits. To succeed in the role, you need good skills in Swedish and English. The person we are looking for is engaged, attentive, communicative, and has an easy time building relationships. Furthermore, you need to have a good ability to plan and carry out work tasks independently. We believe you are thorough and collaboration-oriented and enjoy administrative tasks. Experience working as a student ambassador or international experience, such as studying abroad or internships, is advantageous but not required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment The employment is time-limited according to the "Agreement on Temporary Employment as a Student Employee" with a scope of 15%. Overtime will occur during more intensive periods. Employment period: September 2026 through December 31, 2026. We are keen to adapt working hours so that it fits with your studies. Therefore, we need to plan working time together continuously and with good notice. To be able to fulfill the assignment as a student employee, you must be located in Gothenburg, Sweden and have the ability to perform work on-site at the Medicinareberget campus.
