Are you interested in social media and a skilled content creator? We are now looking for creative students who can create content (reels, stories, posts) for @uppsalastudent_teknat on Instagram and TikTok, with the aim of inspiring future students to pursue the university's programs in technology and natural sciences. As a student assistant, you will work together with other students to present the student perspective on our Instagram and TikTok, which targets prospective students. We want you to feel free to create the content that you yourself would have wanted to see as a curious future applicant to our programs. Job Responsibilities You will create, adapt, and edit content for the channels. The role requires that you are already well-versed in Instagram and TikTok and their features – for example, that you are aware of trending content, know how to edit reels, and enjoy being active on social media. You will be part of a team consisting of students from different programs, as well as communications professionals from Uppsala University who will supervise and support you during the work. Qualification Requirements You must be registered in one of the Faculty of Science and Technology's programs at the basic or advanced level during the autumn term 2026. You speak, understand, and write Swedish fluently without obstacles. You must be a student physically present on campus in Uppsala or Visby. A work sample must be created and submitted according to the instructions below. Great weight will be placed on the assessment of the work sample, based on factors such as creativity, writing, and target audience adaptation. Desirable/Merits Ability to work independently and in an organized manner. If the file is too large, you can send it via a file transfer service. About the Position The employment is time-limited according to HF 5 ch § 12. You are employed for each individual assignment and receive hourly compensation. In total, you are expected to spend an average of 5 hours per month on the assignment. Start date by agreement.
