We are now hiring several students for our team at different LSS group homes in Upplands Väsby and Märsta. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a difference! About Runby Group Home, Upplands Väsby Runby – Nytida About Hasselvillan Group Home, Upplands Väsby Hasselvillan – Nytida About Ekilla Group Home, Märsta Ekilla – Nytida About the Role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and fulfilling. You provide support and guidance with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include daytime, evening, weekends, awake nights, and sleeping on-call shifts. You will have a group leader/group manager/coordinator working closely with you, spending part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You are a student, preferably studying social work or care and welfare-related programs, and are interested in working part-time alongside your studies. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good computer proficiency, and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this target group. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities and ambition, we will support you and provide opportunities to grow.
