Ref: 20261449 Job Responsibilities We are seeking a student assistant to compile the history of Malmö Konsthall's educational activities. In connection with Malmö Konsthall's 50th anniversary in 2025, we initiated an investigation into how educational work, particularly aimed at children and young people, has developed throughout the hall's history. Two previous student assistants have compiled substantial archive and interview materials that need to be organized into some form of publication. Some supplementary material collection may be needed. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the art hall's project leader for education. As a student assistant in Malmö city, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge alongside your studies through assignments within our operations. Qualifications The student assistant program is for you if you have completed at least 60 university credits and continue studying throughout the entire assignment period. You are studying art history, journalism, archival science, publishing science, or an education that the employer considers equivalent. Swedish is a requirement. It is advantageous if you have experience with editorial work and an interest in children's culture. As a person, you are curious, self-directed, analytical, and comfortable talking with people of different ages. About the Workplace Malmö Konsthall is one of Sweden's leading art institutions and an important meeting place for Malmö residents as well as visitors from around the world. In its core operations, the Konsthall runs an exhibition program focused on Swedish and international contemporary art, often in collaboration with other institutions and curators around the world. The assignment comprises approximately 100 hours over 12 weeks. Working Hours: As a student assistant, you will work approximately 10-15 hours per week during daytime.
