Ref: 20261512 Job Responsibilities We are seeking a student employee for Malmö Konsthall's physical archives. Your responsibilities will include establishing and organizing archival inventories from our unique collection containing documents from the opening of the art hall in 1975 onwards. Your work will involve systematically cataloging and archiving documents from previous exhibition productions and other relevant materials. This is an important part of our long-term preservation and accessibility of the archives. The assignment consists of preparing and completing deliveries to Malmö City Archives in dialogue and collaboration with your supervisor. You will work in close collaboration with Malmö Konsthall staff and gain exciting insight into the archives containing physical documents from Malmö Konsthall's 50-year history, as well as an understanding of Malmö's city archive management. Qualifications The student employee program is for you if you have completed at least 60 higher education credits and are still studying throughout the entire assignment period. You are studying Archival Science within the ABM program, or other equivalent education. It is desirable that you have an interest in culture and art. As a person, you are organized, independent, and systematic. About the Workplace Malmö Konsthall is one of Sweden's most prominent art institutions and an important meeting place for Malmö residents as well as visitors from around the world. In its core operations, Konsthall runs an exhibition program focused on Swedish and international contemporary art, often in collaboration with other institutions and curators around the world. By presenting current and reflective contemporary art, Malmö Konsthall positions itself as an important player in an international city. Our goal is for Konsthall to continuously develop as a meeting place, relevant both for art-experienced Malmö residents and for visitors being introduced to contemporary art. The assignment includes 100 hours over 12 weeks. Work Hours: As a student employee, you work approximately 10–15 hours per week during daytime. Work hours are largely flexible.
