Since my muscles are of the more slender variety, I get around with a power wheelchair and therefore need to borrow your arms and hands to make everyday life work. Specifically, this means: • You make daily life at home smooth – from morning routines to cooking, from showering to fixing things around the house and ensuring everything practical runs smoothly. • You are my extended arm – whether I'm at the cottage, on a train journey, in a pool, or need to scrape the car window, as well as when I work in the collective house kitchen and plan meals. • You think one step ahead – you notice when you need to act without me always having to ask for it, you stay in the background when I'm socializing with others or just want to be alone. Who am I looking for? The most important thing is not experience or formal qualifications – the most important thing is who you are as a person since you'll be so close to me. I'm looking for someone who: • Is self-driven but not stubborn – you take initiative and get things done, but ask when you're unsure. You understand the difference. • Has a sense of humor and self-awareness – most things go easier that way. • Is in good physical condition – manual lifting and tasks occur • Is a woman (due to the nature of certain work tasks) • Handles changes – some days are calm, others more intensive. • Is discreet and professional – you achieve more than you show Meritorious but not necessary: • Experience in assistant work or other service work • B-class driver's license (makes certain situations easier but not a requirement) Working hours and schedule: The position is between 50–70%. We also need substitutes/fill-ins during vacations and sick leave. Typical work schedule: • Mainly overnight shifts morning-to-morning including 5.25-hour night duty, some shifts can be split 9–18, 18–9 but you need to be able to work night shifts. • Flexibility in times is a must – but can often be offered in return • Opportunity to combine with studies or other commitments Are you interested in this position?
