Student Assistant Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Lund is a grades 4-9 school with approximately 700 students and 80 staff members. We are now looking for a student assistant in the middle school for the 2026/27 school year. In your work as a student assistant, your role is primarily to provide daily support for students with various challenges. This involves mainly being available for students during lessons, transitions, breaks, and meal times at school and after-school care. In your work, you are responsible for ensuring that students participate in their learning based on their own prerequisites. In this role, it is important to see students' different needs, take into account their individual conditions, and help students grow and develop. The goal is to increase students' independence and work towards inclusion to the greatest extent possible. We are looking for someone who has relevant education to work as a student assistant, who has experience working with children with challenges, and preferably pedagogical experience to meet students' needs for adjustments at the right level. Documented knowledge of neurodevelopmental diagnoses, good collaboration skills, solution-focused approach, and curiosity are merits. The position is a temporary full-time position (100%, holiday cover) starting by agreement. Salary by agreement; collective agreement applies.
