In your role as a student assistant, you work as a resource supporting individual students. You provide support during lessons, breaks, transitions between lessons and activities, and assist individual students based on their needs. In your work, you are responsible for ensuring that the student has the motivation to learn and is engaged in their learning according to their own abilities. In this role, it is important to recognize each student's individual needs, take their circumstances into account, and help them grow and develop. As a student assistant, you also have the ability to adapt teaching situations based on different learning objectives. Important aspects of the work include active preventive safety efforts, stimulating student development and learning, social competence, peer relationships, and contributing to a democratic approach.
We are looking for someone with vocational training as a student assistant. Professional experience in pedagogical work at school is considered a merit. You have good computer skills and strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. We appreciate strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships in your profession. Ability to organize and quality awareness are also important qualities. It is also a merit if you have knowledge of NPF and low-arousal interaction, and if you have previously worked with students with special needs.
