An exciting opportunity for you who are educated in physics, such as a civil engineer in technical physics, nuclear physics, medical physics, or similar education. This position is ideal for you if you are methodical, structured, and able to work independently. The position is located outside Oskarshamn. Weekly commuting works great (we help you with all practical arrangements!) The Position: This role is for you if you are interested in radiation, physics, laboratory work, analysis, and want to work on something that is both meaningful and makes a difference. In this role, you are expected to structure and plan the start-up of practical measurement work, such as how it should be carried out, how samples should be prepared, etc. Documentation. What We're Looking For: Education: Medical physics or an engineering degree with a focus on physics/technical physics, or equivalent. Several years of education required. Experience: Ideally, you have previous experience in nuclear technology operations and understand what a facility looks like/how it functions. Otherwise, you have several years of experience in other work where the tasks can be considered similar. It is highly beneficial if you have documented experience with laboratory work or at least have understanding/insight into how the work functions, as well as experience demonstrating the ability to structure, see the bigger picture, move projects forward, and independently make decisions to drive work forward. Knowledge of radiological radiation from education and/or practical experience. Who You Are: Calm, confident, engaged, and driven. You are a communicative, calm, and methodical person. The position requires you to work independently and oversee the project, while also being able to consult colleagues and work cross-functionally for the best results. You are structured and methodical without getting stuck in details; driving the work forward is important and you want to work on site. You are fluent in both Swedish and English and comfortable with a significant amount of documentation work. Driver's License: Required. Languages: Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written. Other: The nature of the work requires you as a candidate to be on-site to a large extent, but flexibility for weekly commuting arrangements exists.
