Candidates must meet the requirements according to Act No. 553/1991 Sb., on municipal police, as amended: • Czech citizenship, • secondary education completed with a school-leaving examination, • health fitness to perform the rights and duties of a municipal police officer according to Act 553/1991 Sb., • minimum age of 21 years, • clean criminal record in accordance with § 4a of Act No. 553/1991 Sb., • reliability in accordance with § 4b of Act No. 553/1991 Sb. Additional requirements: • Driving license category "B", active driver, • physical and mental fitness. Advantages include: • Valid Certificate of Professional Competence of a municipal (city) police officer, • experience in municipal (local) police or Czech Police, • user knowledge of PC, • valid weapons permit category D. Information about employment: Upon acceptance into employment, candidates become employees of the City of Tišnov. If they do not hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence of a municipal (city) police officer, they will be assigned as trainees to a retraining course, where they will be prepared for the profession of police officer at the Professional Training Center. The scope of trainee and officer training is set by Ministry of Interior Regulation No. 418/2008 Sb. The retraining course also includes training of trainees in the use of service weapons and coercive means. The professional competence of trainees is verified by an examination committee of the Ministry of Interior through an examination. Upon successful completion of the examination, the Ministry of Interior issues a Certificate of Meeting the Established Professional Requirements according to Act No. 553/1991 Sb., on municipal police.
