We are now seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager for Saab Aeronautics. Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility In your role as a strategic procurement manager at Saab, you will be responsible for driving business operations, projects, and relationships linked to various products. Key Areas of Responsibility: Manage business relationships with selected strategic suppliers with a focus on their long-term commitment to Saab. Handle procurement in both new and existing projects in close collaboration with technical engineering teams. Act as project manager for the procurement team within larger projects. Initiate and drive continuous improvement within your area of responsibility. Build a strong professional network with the supplier base. Develop relationships with customers and within the organization. Your Profile To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a strong commercial background and deep knowledge of strategic procurement with a minimum of 4 years of experience in this field. Relationship building: You have a strong ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers and internal customers. Collaborative: You find it easy and enjoyable to collaborate with both colleagues and suppliers. Persistent and resilient: You are persistent and do not give up easily. Education: You hold an MBA, a degree in engineering, a law degree, or equivalent documented education. Languages: You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
