As a Strategic Procurement Specialist at Care of Sweden, you will have overall responsibility for strategic purchasing within assigned categories and play an important role in developing a more data-driven, structured, and sustainable procurement process. You will ensure the right supplier selection, competitive agreements, and a robust supplier base that supports the company's goals for growth, profitability, quality, and delivery capability. The role is central to building a more structured and business-oriented procurement process together with the rest of the procurement organization and in close collaboration with planning, production, quality, finance, and sales. You will work with both materials and services and will have a clear mandate to drive sourcing initiatives, develop supplier relationships, and contribute to long-term improvements. The role is based in Tranemo and involves close collaboration with both Swedish operations and international suppliers, including connections to the company's production in Latvia. You are expected to be based in Tranemo and be close to the operations. Your main responsibilities include: · Develop and drive purchasing strategies for defined categories based on spend, risk, and business needs. · Manage supplier portfolio, sourcing, and supplier selection, and lead RFQ and RFI processes. · Negotiate prices, terms, and framework agreements, and ensure good contract coverage. · Drive cost optimization and develop cost models and analyses to support business decisions. · Identify supplier risks and work proactively with alternative suppliers, geographic diversification, and nearshoring. · Develop long-term supplier relationships and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery accuracy. · Manage strategic purchasing and procurement of both materials and services. · Collaborate cross-functionally on development and improvement projects. · Provide fact-based decision support regarding cost changes, pricing, and commercial priorities. The role also involves monitoring suppliers with relevant KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to professionalizing procurement work through clearer structure, analysis, and methodology. Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience in strategic procurement and sourcing, and who is comfortable driving negotiations and supplier dialogues in an international environment. You have strong commercial understanding and are confident analyzing spend, cost structures, and business data as a basis for well-founded decisions. You have good system experience with ERP and analysis tools and are used to working in a structured manner with supplier evaluation, sourcing, and contract matters. Experience with category management, international suppliers, and change initiatives is particularly valuable. As a person, you are organized, results-oriented, and decisive.
