Strategic Procurement Manager Wanted for Our Client in Gothenburg

About the Position We are now seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager for our client in the automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement work within a defined area and drive both strategic and operational initiatives with a focus on cost efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability. In the role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, where you not only manage ongoing procurement activities but also develop long-term strategies, drive improvement initiatives, and contribute to business development within areas such as sustainability. Examples of work tasks: Lead and drive daily procurement activities Take responsibility for and implement strategic sourcing work, and drive cost reduction initiatives Develop and implement business and procurement strategies Negotiate agreements and ensure effective supplier solutions Establish and develop structures for Supplier Relationship Management Monitor and analyze market developments that affect availability and pricing Ensure that delivery, quality, and cost meet set targets Collaborate with internal functions and project teams About You: We are looking for someone who is confident and business-driven procurement professional with a strong ability to work both strategically and operatively. You have several years of experience in procurement, including strategic procurement work and supplier development in complex, preferably technical environments. Furthermore, we see that you have strong negotiation skills and high business acumen, and you have experience working in international organizations. You have good collaboration skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders; experience from the automotive industry or similar is a merit.
