Strategic Procurement Manager - Construction Contracting

Are you our new procurement manager? We are now seeking two strategic procurement managers with knowledge of and interest in procuring complex solutions in a technology-intensive environment. Svenska kraftnät is one of the most important actors for a sustainable energy transition. About the Position As a strategic procurement manager, you will be offered one of Sweden's most important procurement roles, in which you will contribute daily to Sweden's electricity supply. Svenska kraftnät is in an expansive phase characterized by major investments aimed at expanding and renewing Sweden's electricity transmission network to meet the energy transition. We need you to succeed with our mission-critical assignment to electrify Sweden. The procurement function is organizationally placed within the Common Functions division, which supports the entire operations unit. The division also includes communication, HR, legal department, security and preparedness, facilities, and sustainability, as well as the procurement department. The position will also include the following areas of responsibility: Develop working methods and routines, and be responsible for creating and managing construction-related procurement templates. Support and contribute to Svenska kraftnät's strategic work on supplier management. Identify, analyze, and develop the supplier market. Provide support to the business on matters related to contract management. Assist the business with various procurement-related matters. Manage and maintain templates developed by the business. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and other support functions such as legal, security, and sustainability. As a strategic procurement manager, you will be part of the procurement department, procurement management unit. The department currently consists of approximately 50 employees working with procurement of construction contracts, indirect materials, consultants, IT, and electricity market. The procurement management unit consists of just over 10 employees. Managers and employees within the procurement department actively work with change initiatives to continuously develop procurement operations, characterized by inclusion, teamwork, openness, and collegial atmosphere. You act commercially in your decisions and in your advisory role to the client and are responsive to the client's needs. You have a holistic view of the business and strong drive and ability to deliver on time and meet set goals.
