Sweden's most beautiful workplace is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager with position in Norrköping In your role as Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be part of a team comprised of both Strategic Procurement Managers and Procurement Specialists. Together, with shared commitment, you will drive exciting and important development projects and create new work methods for the procurement unit. The work involves many contacts both within the Swedish Maritime Administration and with our suppliers. Responsibilities As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be part of the Swedish Maritime Administration's Procurement Unit and work with procurement matters from both short- and long-term perspectives to best support the Administration's needs. You ensure that procurements have commercial terms and are correct from a legal perspective. You will work closely with your colleagues in the procurement unit and with our operations. You will also play an important role in creating and maintaining good relationships with both suppliers and external procurement actors. It is therefore important that you thrive in a role with many contacts both internally and externally. The Procurement Unit works in category-based teams, and you will work within one or more categories where you drive or participate in long-term development work and support other procurements within the category. Who are you? We are seeking someone who has/will have: - current work experience of several years working with public procurement, the Public Procurement Act (LOU) - deep understanding of LOU and its practical application - post-secondary education in, for example, engineering, IT, economics, procurement, law or other education relevant to the position, combined with work experience in procurement that the employer deems relevant - unobstructed ability to work with IT tools and programs, such as the MS Office package and electronic procurement tools such as Mercell Tendsign or similar - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, as you independently prepare procurement documents and contract proposals Merits if you have: - current experience with procurements under LUFS (Act on Procurement in the Defense and Security Sector) - practical experience/or training in project management with focus on the role and responsibility of leading a project - practical experience conducting procurements in all parts of the procurement process, as well as experience with strategic procurement and procurements in technology/materials/IT/security areas - technical background through relevant work experience in technical operations and/or education as a civil engineer or equivalent technical higher education - experience in international business and negotiations with suppliers from different parts of the world - experience with assignments related to new technology, such as AI We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
