About the Unit
Försvarsmakten's procurement unit is located within FMLOG (Försvarsmakten's logistics command) and is responsible for Försvarsmakten's procurement and purchasing in accordance with applicable procurement legislation. The work we carry out is crucial for Försvarsmakten's supply as well as strategic and operational capability. We work according to an established category-driven methodology.
The procurement unit consists of seven departments geographically distributed across Sweden. We are now seeking a strategic procurement officer for our External Goods and Services department in Stockholm. We are unpretentious, helpful, and value mutual trust. Main Responsibilities
In your role as a strategic procurement officer, you will be part of a Category Team and your responsibilities will include:
Independently plan and conduct procurements of varying complexity, from developing commercial strategies, conducting needs analyses and market research prior to procurement, developing procurement documents, performing bid evaluations, and leading supplier negotiations, as well as ensuring commercial viability.
Respond for maintaining strong business relationships with your suppliers and ensure continuous contract management and monitoring of your suppliers.
Build and develop strong relationships with our customers and clients across the entire Försvarsmakten organization.
Qualifications
Qualifications required for the position include:
Relevant academic education, vocational training with a commercial focus, or equivalent knowledge acquired from relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
At least three years of current experience conducting procurements with commercial viability in focus.
Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Procurements under LOU or LUFS
Category-driven work
Project management or project work
Work in large, complex organizations
Other Information
Start date as soon as possible by agreement. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month trial period. The position is located in Stockholm. Work testing may occur during the recruitment process.
