About us
Upplands Väsby Municipality is located in the northern part of the Stockholm region, with proximity to both Arlanda and Uppsala. The municipality is organized into six different offices and has approximately 2,000 employees.
The position as strategic management resource is newly created and organizationally placed directly under the head of the Municipal Leadership Office (KLK). It is the KLK head together with the Municipal Director who serves as the assignment giver. Based on your current assignment, you will belong to different operations and participate in different management groups at the offices.

Between different acting manager roles, you will lead complex investigations, drive development assignments, or provide support to managers and operations. Through this role, the municipality wants to strengthen organizational learning and create greater collaboration between operations. As a strategic management resource, you have a unique opportunity to contribute with experience, spread successful work methods, and create value in multiple parts of the organization.
Are you the one we're looking for?
To succeed in this role, you need solid experience with and understanding of municipal logic and the conditions for leadership in different municipal operations; perhaps you have been a department director or organizational consultant. You also have relevant academic education.

Someone who appreciates work that varies over time, both in terms of content, tasks, and responsibilities.
