About the role As a Strategic Buyer, you are responsible for procurement of direct and indirect materials within one or several strategic procurement areas. You will, among other things: develop and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts, prices, and commercial terms manage international sourcing projects collaborate with our factories on quality, cost, and delivery reliability identify new suppliers and business opportunities drive supplier development and contribute to our global procurement strategies. You will work within one or more of the following commodity areas: Castings Forgings Bars & Tubes Machined Components Standard Components Heat Treatment Surface Treatment What we're looking for You have several years of experience in strategic procurement within the manufacturing industry and thrive in an international environment. We would like you to have: technical understanding and knowledge of manufacturing processes experience with international suppliers and commercial negotiations an analytical approach and good business understanding experience from the mechanical or automotive industry experience with supplier audits and quality standards such as IATF 16949 or VDA is a merit. You communicate well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English and have a valid driver's license. Who are you? You are business-minded, well-organized, and enjoy taking responsibility.
