We are responsible for steering, monitoring and developing the city's operations based on the vision and budget decided by the City Council. We have over 390 employees who mainly work with strategic issues that are of great importance to the city's operations. Welcome to us The Development and HR Department is responsible for coordinating work on development, quality and innovation, as well as leading and developing the city's joint work on employer-related issues. This includes the city's personnel strategic work and thereby contributes to developing Stockholm as an attractive employer. This assignment is located in the Unit for Employer Issues, which is responsible for the city's strategic work in the areas of labor law, working environment and wage formation. This is done through, among other things, interpretation and positions on labor law legislation and collective agreements, management of the city's wage process, and the city-wide work on the city's cooperation agreements. The unit provides advice to the city's HR functions on labor law matters, conducts local dispute negotiations, conducts annual wage review negotiations, and concludes collective agreements. Together with advisors in labor law and working environment, you will drive city-wide issues and strategies related to the labor law area, including cooperation. You work closely with the city's other administrations in an advisory role, where you operationally support the administrations' HR functions with qualified and consultative support on labor law matters. You will work with, among other things: Driving strategic work, updating, developing and monitoring the procedures and processes that include employer-related issues Monitoring external developments and interpreting and implementing new regulations/laws as they are updated, through training and materials, for example Various types of negotiations, such as dispute negotiations. You work closely with other advisors in the department, and together you work to drive and develop the department's work. You report to the Head of Negotiations. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone with: Higher education in a relevant area Current and several years of professional experience with labor law matters from municipal operations or other politically governed organization Documented experience and knowledge of labor law regulations Good ability and experience in writing texts and expressing yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing Experience/interest in holding seminars/training. It is advantageous if you have: Good knowledge of municipal collective agreements Current experience of work within working environment and cooperation Experience of negotiation work Experience of work within Stockholm.
