RESPONSIBILITIES As a competency supply strategist with us, you are responsible for developing Region Västerbotten's long-term ability to attract, develop and retain employees. You contribute to ensuring that the region has the competencies required to meet future needs. In this role, you are responsible for developing and strengthening the region's strategic work on competency supply and contributing to the development of effective working methods, processes and approaches in this area. You work to analyze and identify future competency needs to ensure sustainable competency supply in operations. An important part of the assignment is to drive development work related to the region's employer attractiveness and employer offering, with the goal of attracting, recruiting and retaining employees. You produce analyses, forecasts and qualified decision-making materials to support strategic decisions and operational development. The assignment also includes collaborating with educational actors, operations and other relevant partners to strengthen the region's competency supply work and create conditions for future competencies. You will be based in Umeå, in the Region's House, which is close to both Norrland University Hospital and Umeå University. Here you will have a day-to-day experience in a large and complex organization with an important societal mission. QUALIFICATIONS You have relevant academic education. You have several years of experience with strategic work in competency supply, HR or operational development and are accustomed to driving matters at both operational and strategic levels. To succeed in this role, you need to have strong analytical skills and experience in producing, interpreting and translating analyses, forecasts and statistics into operational decision-making materials. You also have experience with development and change work in larger or complex organizations and feel comfortable leading processes involving multiple actors and stakeholders. As a person, you are proactive, well-organized and have a strong ability to create trusting collaborations and communicate complex matters in a clear and pedagogical manner.
