Strategy Leader - Data and Analytics

Do you want to lead Kronofogden's journey toward a data-driven public agency? About the Role Kronofogden's goal is for our collective information to be used as a shared asset across the entire organization, including for analysis, management, development, and sharing with others. To become a more efficient agency and achieve the development we want, we need to work in a more data-driven manner. This requires order and structure in information management, an achievable plan for developing new capabilities, and a focus on early operational value. We have some analytical capability today, but the potential is far from being fully utilized, and work with data and analytics is in a development phase. We are therefore looking for a person who can be the agency's central figure for developing data and analytics capability and driving work with the new architecture. You will help shape how we organize ourselves, what competencies we develop, and how we work. Your task will be to develop, drive forward, and coordinate data and analytics capability across functions. This means close collaboration with core operations to understand needs, establish direction, and build understanding of what a data-driven approach means in practice. It also involves collaboration with our IT department on technical platforms and with our analysis unit on needs related to analysis and statistics. You will also collaborate with roles in IT development, the business's information owners, and external stakeholders. This new role is placed in the agency's architecture unit. It combines a clear mandate to lead and advance the data and analytics area with strategic architecture work. In this role, you will work on: - Understanding and establishing the agency's overall needs for data and analytics as a basis for strategic decisions and architecture development - Contributing to the development of target architecture and architecture principles, as well as a roadmap for the data and analytics area - Driving work on data governance, data quality, and data lineage so that the agency's data becomes known, traceable, and reliable - Contributing to shaping the organization, roles, and competencies within the data and analytics area - Ensuring that data is prepared for AI and machine learning and supports the agency's AI strategy - Collaborating with other roles such as business developers, architects, and others, following external developments and participating in the agency's architecture governance and external collaboration About You As an employee at Kronofogden, you are expected to live up to our employee policy. Your Qualifications: - Relevant experience leading and developing a data and analytics area from strategy to implementation, as well as experience in strategic dialogue and establishing direction with management groups - Several years of relevant understanding of data, information, or enterprise architecture, with practical experience designing and establishing modern data platforms - Experience establishing and driving data governance in an organization - University degree of at least 180 credits, or 120 points in the previous system, in IT, data technology, systems science, or equivalent, or work experience that we assess as equivalent - Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is desirable that you have: - Relevant experience leading development work in the form of initiative or project management - Experience with medallion architecture or comparable layered architecture patterns - Experience preparing and adapting data platforms for AI and machine learning - Experience developing reference architecture, target architecture, and architecture principles - Experience with metadata management and data lineage - Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, modeling languages such as ArchiMate, and governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK - Relevant knowledge of applicable regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation, the Open Data Act, and the EU AI Act About Us Kronofogden is a government agency with an important mission. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance.
