Description Arjeplog Municipality is seeking a person to work as a Support Assistant at LSS Regnbågen, a residential facility for children aged 0-18 with disabilities covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. Job Description Work at Regnbågen involves a pedagogical and salutogenic approach with the child at the center. Structure and activities based on the child's needs and abilities. Support for the child includes all daily situations, from personal hygiene, meals, cleaning, daily activities, social and government contacts, leisure activities, to developing implementation plans. It is of great importance to safeguard the individual's participation and influence. Certain healthcare measures may occur. Personal Qualities Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The work requires that you are flexible, have a sense of responsibility, and can work both independently and in a group. Good cooperation skills are a requirement. All people should have equal value and be treated respectfully by you. You should be positive, creative, and have a pedagogical approach. You have the ability to see needs and resources in the children. You need to be calm, persistent, and clear in your body language with good and respectful treatment and a salutogenic approach that means you work based on the individual's abilities and resources. The work requires that you can work both independently and in a group. You speak and write Swedish fluently. Other: The schedule includes work shifts with sleeping on-call duty. Qualifications Education: We are looking for someone with experience in similar work tasks. Upper secondary education within the care program or training as a nursing assistant is advantageous and for the position of support assistant, this is a requirement. Support Assistant/Support Staff at Regnbågen is currently an occupation in shortage. To receive this bonus, you must be registered in Arjeplog Municipality during these 3 years. The wage bonus is paid when employment exceeds: 12 months with 15,000 SEK, 24 months with 22,500 SEK, and 36 months with 30,000 SEK. As well as the opportunity to apply for a moving bonus, which means that someone who has adequate education and gets a job in an occupation in shortage and registers in Arjeplog can receive a bonus. Maximum 30,000 SEK with verified documentation. The bonus is proportional to the employment rate.
