Support Educator for Co-Planning Areas in Housing and Short-Term Services

Your Tasks As a support educator, you provide individually tailored support in the residents' home environment together with your team. The work is based on a pedagogical and salutogenic approach with a focus on development opportunities, participation, and clear structure. You have a special mission to support users in finding strategies to manage everyday and work life, as well as various social contexts. In the service, you drive the pedagogical work and mentor colleagues in planning, follow-up, documentation, and goal achievement, with a focus on good conduct and low-affective approaches. As base personnel, you also play an important role in quality development and participate in developing communicative methods, routines, and a shared approach. The work is varied: from pedagogical support in daily life, networking, documentation, and evaluation to practical tasks in the home such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning. In your role you will: · Actively drive processes around documentation, training, and methods. · Be responsible, together with contact personnel, for conducting network meetings and creating and following up on implementation plans. · Participate in networks with other support educators and the methods advisor. · Take part in the daily work of the service. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, on-call, and weekends. Requirements · Complete upper secondary vocational education as a support educator or other complete post-secondary education in pedagogy or behavioral science, combined with relevant work experience. · Category B driver's license and access to a car. · Experience working with persons under LSS and challenging behavior. · Very good communication skills and excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written. · Experience with documentation and basic computer skills. · Knowledge of how to create and follow up on implementation plans and experience working in LifeCare. Meritorious · Experience working as a support educator within LSS with target groups with various functional variations such as autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors, as well as experience working with early-onset dementia.
