To ensure work in accordance with the law and of good quality, develop, support and ensure service users the best opportunity for targeted interventions, we will be starting a team with support educators.
The team will work across the entire LSS service provider area, which includes daily activities, group and service homes, as well as short-term activities. Organizationally, the team will report to the area manager.

Your role
The support educator supports managers, group leaders, and coordinators in, for example, implementation processes, work with protective and restrictive measures, documentation, participation, and communication. You will have close collaboration with the support educators who work in the operations as well as other colleagues.
While the unit manager holds responsibility for operations, budget, and staff, and the group leader supervises daily and operational work, you will be able to provide "hands on" support in the educational work close to service users. You will support staff in pedagogical planning, documentation, methodology, approach, and more.
You will receive and propose assignments that cover all or some of the operations. The assignments can be at an overarching and strategic level, as well as close to the operations, staff, and individual service users.
In close collaboration with management, the support educator assists in planning and evaluating the educational work based on the operation's needs. The support educator develops and trains, and has a supervisory pedagogical role that focuses on promoting participation and self-determination with the individual's needs at the center.
Examples of your work tasks:
Ensure structure, clarity, and quality in the daily support for our service users
Collaborate with management team, colleagues, and family members, as well as other partners
Monitor developments within the knowledge area of disabilities and pedagogical methods
Educational initiatives for colleagues
Develop methodological work and approaches
Serve as a method support and supervisory resource to colleagues in work methods and documentation at the individual and group level according to current legislation
Follow up and evaluate approaches and methods
Support the development and use of individually adapted pedagogical approaches in everyday work
Support in mapping behaviors and abilities of service users
Develop, drive, and follow up on service user participation and influence
Your competence and experience
As a support educator, you have knowledge in, among other things, pedagogy, disabilities, ethics, and professional approach, as well as a good ability to work with quality awareness and contribute to development in the operation.
You are a support educator, which means you have:
Post-secondary specialization within the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational higher education credits or 60 higher education credits
or
Care and nursing program with specialization within program specialization in disability
or other relevant higher education.
You have
Good computer skills and command of office software and other digital tools, including digital communication tools
Good ability to document and express yourself in speech and writing
Experience with social documentation, implementation plans, etc.
Good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and communication, such as TAKK, AKK
Knowledge in low-affect approach (LAB)
Experience working within LSS
Experience developing, training, and/or supervising within the LSS field
It is meritorious if you have competence within, for example, the pedagogical framework, Yrkesresan, Kombo, or other communication aids.
You are structured and clear.
You prefer to work independently but see group participation as self-evident.
You have a good ability to build relationships and collaboration alliances with colleagues and partners.
