Welcome to us We are seeking committed support educators for LSS group homes, one at Lignagatan 16 and one at Drakenbergsgatan 55. The group homes are located in a pleasant environment in Södermalm. In our operation unit, we work based on user participation and influence in their everyday lives. The positions involve a shared assignment where you will initially work 20% as a support educator and 80% as a support assistant. Working hours are scheduled with service during days/evenings and every other weekend on a rotating four-week schedule. Your role As a support educator in a group home, you provide residents with support in their daily lives using a pedagogical approach. Care and support are provided based on each individual's needs, integrity, and self-determination. Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners as well as legal representatives are a large part of the daily work. In your work, you are expected to be able to receive medication delegation. Together with your colleagues, you work to make the individual a participant in their own daily life based on given conditions. You will provide support for people with diagnoses within NPF (neuropsychiatric disorders) and intellectual disabilities. The role includes: - Ensuring that guidelines for social documentation are followed and that the quality of implementation plans and social documentation is maintained in your own unit and, when necessary, in other units. - Guiding staff in pedagogical work based on user needs and the pedagogical framework chosen as the work method, and suggesting pedagogical solutions. - Teaching and conveying knowledge in work methods, techniques, and models, and acquiring knowledge as needed. - Supporting and contributing to operational development. - Assisting group leaders and managers in following up and addressing deviations and handling feedback. - Together with group leaders, supporting the manager in the operation's self-audits. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: - Education as a support educator or occupational therapist - Experience working within LSS - Experience working based on clarifying pedagogy, low-affective interaction, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and visual supports - Good computer skills - Experience with documentation - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is also advantageous if you have: - Experience with work methods that facilitate daily life for the individual We place special emphasis on the following personal abilities and skills: You take responsibility for your work, structure, and drive tasks forward independently. Furthermore, you have a salutogenic view of people and high work ethic as well as a positive attitude toward your work and enjoy meeting people.
