The Care and Services Administration with approximately 1,500 employees is one of the administrations in Mölndal City and includes elderly care, functional support, and health and medical care. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a support pedagogue, you are a resource and role model in pedagogy, interpersonal approach, and participation. You establish and develop work methods and ensure their effectiveness. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you are responsible for the operation's pedagogical design and quality work. On behalf of the unit manager, you implement methods, work procedures, and routines. You assess users' support needs and develop implementation plans for interventions such as support families, respite care, and companionship services. You ensure that support assistants follow the plans, train them in social documentation based on IBIC, and provide ongoing support. The work is based on users' individual implementation plans and includes regular contact with users, guardians, and follow-up on interventions. The position is largely administrative, which requires good computer skills. You collaborate with coordinators to match staff with users. Within the contact person assignment, you are responsible for assessment, matching, follow-up, and social documentation. As a knowledge resource, you guide support assistants and work groups and support the unit manager. You are responsible for introducing new employees and competency development, which requires confidence in leading groups. Cooperation with other units may be included. Your work is based on a clear and low-affective approach with a focus on the individual's independence, self-determination, and participation. You create methods that strengthen users' self-esteem and opportunity for an independent life. You are part of a network with support pedagogues within short-term activities, personal support, and daily activities, and receive guidance from a methods developer. The position is developmental and challenging, with significant responsibility and demands for independent work. Working hours are during daytime. QUALIFICATIONS You have appropriate post-secondary education as a support pedagogue or other education/experience that the employer deems sufficient. Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Very good computer skills. Experience working with people with disabilities (current target group). You must have good knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication and clarifying pedagogy and be able to implement them in practical work with individual users. You are flexible and can adapt your work methods based on changed circumstances and new information. You can quickly change your perspective and approach and see possibilities in changes. You show commitment to the organization, have a positive attitude toward work, and follow decisions made, operational plans, goals, and guidelines. You make judgments about when to voice criticism and assess the correct recipient. You stand for the values that exist in your workplace and ensure they are translated into action. You get energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to occur. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others. You have the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Entry date according to agreement.
