We welcome your application! Work Tasks Using a pedagogical approach, you will carry out daily and planned support measures and activities together with the user. Support measures are based on the user's individual needs, promote independence, participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination. You are responsible for establishing and following up implementation plans together with the user, other social documentation, and other administrative tasks/areas of responsibility such as scheduling, purchase orders, health and safety. You are also responsible for supporting your colleagues at the workplace in working with social documentation and implementation plans. You are a resource and support in developing and using individually tailored pedagogical solutions/methods in daily work, and in disseminating new knowledge about pedagogical methods in the operation. The work includes collaborating with the user's network, other staff, and other partners, as well as driving development work forward together with colleagues in accordance with established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines. You may be called upon to contribute to other LSS operations with your pedagogical expertise and collaborate with other educators in LSS activities. Stjärnbacken has operation-adapted schedules and joint planning with other operations occurs, primarily Gullstigen's children's and youth short-term care. This is a permanent full-time position (100%) with start date by agreement. Working hours include day, evening, and weekend shifts. On-call sleep duty may occur. Qualifications We are seeking someone with post-secondary specialization in the disability field, for example 200 vocational school credits or 60 higher education credits. The education should have a clear focus on the disability field and/or the behavioral science field. We appreciate if you have experience working with this target group and individuals with challenging behaviors. It is important that you have the ability to meet people professionally based on their individual circumstances and needs. As a person, you are self-driven and stress-resilient with the individual in focus. You are empathetic and responsible, and you work well with others. You have good social skills and thrive working flexibly. We place great importance on personal suitability. To work in care and health services, you must be at least 18 years old. The position requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, in order to communicate with users, perform care documentation, and receive medication delegation. For work with adults with disabilities, you must provide a valid extract from the criminal record and suspicion register.
