Support Educator to Södermalm

Welcome to us We are seeking a support educator/support assistant for three group homes located in a pleasant environment in central Hammarby Sjöstad, Södermalm. The focus is on service user group 1 under the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). At our operating unit, we work based on user participation and influence in their daily lives. Stockholm City's quality program and the Stockholm resident focus form the basis of all work we perform. We are now seeking an engaged support educator/support assistant. The position involves a shared assignment where you initially work 20% as a support educator and 80% as a support assistant. Working hours are scheduled with service on days/evenings and every other weekend on a rotating four-week schedule. Your role Your role includes: • Being a support in planning, implementing and following up pedagogical interventions according to implementation plans. • Working with pedagogical methods and clarifying work approaches • Supporting users in their daily lives and enabling an active and independent life. • Responsibility for ensuring documentation complies with laws and guidelines • Collaborating with management group, colleagues and family members as well as other partners • Assisting the manager with the operation's self-inspections • Actively working with the pedagogical framework • Supporting the operation with deviation and feedback management • Contributing to business development Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: • Post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational higher education credits or 60 higher education credits, alternatively the care and nursing program with specialization within the functional impairment program specialization. • Experience working within LSS • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital tools. • Good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy (e.g. TAKK, AKK) • Knowledge of low-arousal approaches • Good ability to document and to express yourself in speech and writing We consider it a merit if you have: • Interest and knowledge of digital solutions We always take references and request an extract from the Police Criminal Records Register before appointment to the position.
