JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support educator within LSS/Social Psychiatry, you have an important role in developing and strengthening the educational work within the operation. The assignment is organization-wide and includes both residential support and employment services. You function as a support to your colleagues through mentoring, guidance, and pedagogical expertise, while also working directly with customers in daily support.
In this role, you contribute to ensuring that services are based on an individually adapted, structured, and pedagogical approach. You support colleagues in implementing methods and work approaches in practice and promote a common approach that strengthens customers' participation, independence, and quality of life.
Part of the position consists of direct customer work where you provide residential support to people with mental and neuropsychiatric conditions. Together with the customer, you work in a motivating and supportive manner to create structure in daily life, develop abilities, and enable as independent a life as possible. Support is designed based on each customer's individual needs and can include everything from everyday tasks and personal care to support in contacts with society and meaningful leisure activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• Support educator education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience working in Social Psychiatry is required.
• Experience working within LSS is meritorious.
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective approaches, and the ability to implement these in practice.
• Driver's license and good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
