The facility currently consists of 10 apartments in a stairwell and a common area. The operations are characterized by close collaboration, clear structures, and shared responsibility in daily life. By creating relationships and structure as colleagues and maintaining a common approach, we focus on preventive measures for our service users. Daily life can be both calm and active with shared activities and everyday tasks. Together with our service users, we prepare shared meals in their respective apartments. We are currently starting fresh and together we staff the facility around the clock. Our collaboration is characterized by close dialogue, shared responsibility, and continuity. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Support Pedagogue, you have expanded responsibility within the work team and contribute pedagogical expertise to develop the operations and ensure good quality. You support colleagues in creating a holistic perspective of the individual with a focus on development, participation, and independence. You serve as a resource in methodological matters and work to ensure that implementation plans, documentation, and working methods maintain high quality. In this role, you work closely with service users and combine pedagogical support with care services based on individual needs. Your responsibilities also include delegated health and medical care services as well as support to other disability support activities as needed. You are a role model through your professional demeanor, your structure, and your ability to contribute to a safe and developmental work environment. As a Support Pedagogue, you are also part of a network with other support pedagogues where you regularly exchange experiences and contribute to the development of the operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in this field with a focus on functional disabilities and a clear connection to working with people with intellectual, cognitive, or mental functional disabilities. The education should include, for example, ethical approaches as well as pedagogical theories and methods. You have documentation experience and experience working with people with physical, mental, or intellectual functional disabilities or mental health issues. You are confident in adapting support based on the individual's needs and circumstances. Good knowledge of Swedish is required in order to communicate, absorb information, and document in accordance with applicable requirements. You also have the capacity to handle the physical work tasks of the assignment. It is desirable if you have experience with cognitive support, coaching approaches, supervision of students or colleagues, and pedagogical methods such as clarifying working methods and alternative communication methods.
