Description:

Job Responsibilities The Personal Support Services department provides services including accompaniment, personal assistance, and contact persons. We are currently seeking two support pedagogues for a six-month temporary position with immediate start or by agreement. We work closely together across the entire department, with one position initially focusing primarily on personal assistance and the other on accompaniment. As a support pedagogue, you are responsible for implementing agreed-upon methods and work approaches in the operations and in work with assistance users/clients. You work to support, motivate, and guide both assistance users/clients and colleagues, as well as with follow-up and evaluation of completed services. As a support pedagogue, you serve as a support to other staff in work with social documentation and implementation plans, and you help develop action plans regarding specific assistance users/clients together with colleagues. You collaborate with assistance users/clients, their relatives/guardians, and staff in other operations. The support pedagogue is responsible for implementing an ethical approach within the work team that promotes the assistance user's/client's self-determination, participation, integrity, and sense of security. Support pedagogues within the department are part of an overarching network led by a methods developer. Colleagues from other operations regularly meet to exchange experiences and develop work approaches for the entire department. Within personal support, the support pedagogue works closely with the respective unit manager, with the methods developer, and with the operations developer to follow up on how work at the unit functions. Qualifications The position as support pedagogue requires post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational education credits, 120 higher education credits, or 60 higher education credits with two years of work experience with people with disabilities. The education must include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) nursing, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Communication and documentation are important aspects of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet these qualification requirements, you may be offered a language test through test provider Educateit. It is a requirement that you have worked with social documentation. It is advantageous if you have experience within the personal assistance and/or accompaniment service areas. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and new information, and you can quickly shift your perspective and approach, seeing opportunities in changes. You act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others, and you have the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment. You work effectively under stress, can balance various demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You distinguish between the issue and the person, and you can make well-founded decisions under time pressure. Within your area of responsibility, you can resist pressure from others, set boundaries, and say no when needed. You are clear in your professional role and act professionally in situations where others question you or make unreasonable demands. Other Information In this recruitment, you will answer a number of questions where you describe your knowledge in the field instead of submitting a personal letter.
