Description We are now seeking a support pedagogue for Lindholmsallén 43 residential care facility! Lindholmsallén 43 is located on Lindholmen in Lundby and is a residential facility with special support and services according to LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The target group is people with neuropsychiatric functional variations. Lindholmsallén 43 has 6 apartments as well as common areas. The work team at the facility consists, in addition to you, of five support assistants, and together you are responsible for planning and developing the operation as well as providing practical, personal, and pedagogical support in daily life. Medication management is also part of the work. As a support pedagogue with us, you join a team of dedicated support assistants whose shared mission is to contribute to a meaningful life with daily support, activity support, and maintenance of social contacts. You support the support assistants in the operation with methods, routines, and social documentation, and help maintain structure in the organization. You will also guide and reflect on approaches to service and interaction. Being a support in developing individually adapted methods to promote participation and independence is an important part of the work. In your role as support pedagogue, you work with quality follow-up and quality development in the operation. You also participate in a network within the field with other support pedagogues and have a method developer to support your work with quality and methods. You will ensure that structure and work tasks proceed smoothly and will have administrative time as needed. The facility operates around the clock and we are guided by the residents' needs and revise work hours accordingly. You will work closely with the unit manager on operational development from both a pedagogical and financial perspective, and the unit is part of a collaborative area with other Residential Care with Special Services as well as Daily Activities. Working hours are scheduled with every other weekend worked. The position is full-time with 38.25 hours as the full-time measure. Qualifications We are looking for you who have training as a support pedagogue or alternatively a post-secondary specialization in the functional impairment field that includes at least 200 vocational training credits, 120 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with functional impairments. The training should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. You also need basic computer skills for this position. You have previous experience as a support pedagogue and it is a merit if you have knowledge or experience with working methods such as MI (motivational interviewing), AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), ESL (an independent life), and LAB (low-intensity interaction). As a person, you take responsibility for both your own and shared work tasks with a focus on what is best for the operation. Work tasks are carried out thoroughly, followed up, and driven forward with commitment and initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others. You collaborate well by listening, showing respect, and contributing to the shared mission. Work is planned, organized, and prioritized efficiently to ensure results on time. For you, it is important to be able to see a holistic perspective and understand how your own work affects and is affected by the organization as a whole. You cooperate on overarching issues, weigh different perspectives, and adapt ideas to the needs of the operation. Other Information Selection and interviews will begin during the application period.
