The position is placed within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for the exercise of authority, commissioning of services, and in-house operations within the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your work tasks As a support pedagogue at Grindgatans Group Home, you play an important role in developing the facility's pedagogical methods. You work both in daily support for the users and in supporting the work team in pedagogical work. You contribute to creating structure and clarity in everyday life, developing common work methods, and ensuring that documentation and implementation plans maintain good quality. An important part of the assignment is also to mentor and support colleagues and contribute to reflection and development within the work team. Together with the operations manager and colleagues, you will have the opportunity to help shape the facility's continued development and create work methods that provide the best possible support for the users. Your workplace Grindgatan is a group home within LSS where seven people with intellectual and neuropsychiatric functional difficulties live together. The residents have lived together for many years and have a wonderful community where activities and social interaction are a natural part of everyday life. Here you will get to participate in everything from library visits and hairdresser appointments to other activities that contribute to a meaningful existence. The facility is in a development phase where we are building new routines and work methods together. You will be an important part of that work and will have the opportunity to influence the facility's development together with an experienced work team and operations manager. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekends, and on-call sleeping shifts. About you We are looking for someone who has a YH (Vocational Higher Education) education as a support pedagogue of 200 YH points or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience with documentation and record-keeping. It is an asset if you have experience with pedagogical methods and knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others. You are self-directed, take responsibility for your assignment, and contribute to driving development forward. You have a pedagogical approach, are clear in your communication, and have the ability to create trusting relationships with both users and colleagues.
