DUTIES As a Support Educator, you are responsible for supporting and developing the operations as well as providing support to residents in their daily lives. You ensure that routines are followed and participate in developing these, while building trusting relationships with residents and promoting their independence, participation, and opportunity to participate in society. In your role, you assess residents' needs and ensure that individual implementation plans are created, carried out, documented, and evaluated. You collaborate with residents, colleagues, management, healthcare personnel, and other important contacts for the individual. You actively contribute to the development of operations by monitoring the external environment, contributing ideas and suggestions at staff meetings, and following up on established goals. Together with the operations manager, you are responsible for pedagogical development and make decisions that support residents' participation and independence. You mentor and support colleagues in routines, work methods, and pedagogical work, and contribute to developing and using individually adapted pedagogical methods in daily life. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Education as a Support Educator. • Experience from LSS-regulated operations. • Excellent knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. • Experience with implementation plans and social documentation as well as computer proficiency. • Experience with low-affective communication approaches. It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working as a Support Educator. • Worked with pedagogical methods such as MI, Supported Employment, DMO Participation Model, and KAT-Kit. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, unpretentious, and solution-focused. You have a strong commitment to both residents and operations and contribute with excellent collaboration skills by seeing the bigger picture, being flexible, and maintaining clarity in your communication and approach. You are calm and stable even in challenging situations and have the ability to convey security and reassurance to those around you. At the same time, you dare to express your opinion in a professional manner when needed. In this role, it is important that you are confident in your profession and can mentor and support your colleagues. You are curious, eager to learn, and stay updated within your field. You work in a structured manner and can plan your work in a way that addresses both current needs and long-term goals. We place great importance on personal suitability.
