The Daily Activity Program in Halmstad Municipality supports people with diverse needs to develop independence, participation, and meaningful engagement. We are now recruiting staff for four different focus areas within the program. Focus Area 1: Work and employment at external workplaces with emphasis on independence, participation, and social networks. Focus Area 2: Support and coaching of participants in work groups at external workplaces, with focus on development, participation, and independence. Focus Area 3: Work within agricultural and equine activities where participants are supported in practical tasks and learning. Focus Area 4: Individualized support for participants with extensive support needs, with focus on participation, communication, and development. Your Responsibilities As a support educator, you will support and coach participants in the daily activity program toward independence, participation, and meaningful engagement based on individual needs and circumstances. In a mentoring role, you will provide pedagogical support in everyday situations by creating structure, guiding participants, and adapting your approach to the target group's needs. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues, coordinating functions, and external actors. The role includes working with pedagogical methods, documenting according to applicable guidelines, and motivating and supporting participants with a low-intensity and individualized approach. We are looking for someone who thrives in a developing program and wants to help shape working methods and processes together with colleagues. The role requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work through change, while contributing to a program that makes a concrete difference for people every day. Your Qualifications For the position of support educator, post-secondary education of at least 200 YH credits or 60 higher education credits in areas such as pedagogy, disability services, behavioral science, or other relevant field is required. Education within the disability services field is advantageous. The position requires knowledge of low-intensity approaches, clarifying pedagogy, and social documentation, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Office. A class B driver's license is required. Experience with methods and approaches such as MI, SE, IPS, IBIC, BIP/SKAPA, LifeCare, or Career Path, as well as work with people with disabilities, is advantageous.
