We are now seeking a support pedagogue for a full-time position split between two units—Andstigen and Snäppvägen group homes within LSS, in Skattkärr, Karlstad Municipality. About the Role As a support pedagogue, you will work together with your colleagues in direct support of our service users. You will also implement and apply Nytida's pedagogical framework and contribute to developing personalized pedagogy for the service users. This supports them in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthening their self-esteem, and enabling a health-promoting life by serving as a role model and motivating them toward wellness. Together with other staff members, you will work toward making each day meaningful and enriching, performing care-related tasks, ensuring comfortable facilities, and participating in activities with service users. You will also mentor and support staff in social documentation and implementation plans, onboard new employees, and collaborate with the operations manager and group leaders on development projects. You report to the operations manager. A management position could also be a future career opportunity for you. Work hours include daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call nights. About the Units Andstigen and Snäppvägen are group homes for adults who are part of LSS category 1 with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism spectrum disorder. The homes are located in Skattkärr, approximately 10 minutes from central Karlstad, with 5 places each. Your Experience and Knowledge You are trained as a support pedagogue from a vocational college or have relevant higher education. You have strong computer skills, documentation experience, and good Swedish language skills both spoken and written. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group. As a person, you have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people. You are responsible, thorough, and enjoy working in a team.
