About Unika Almungeberg Unika Almungeberg is a group home located in a peaceful rural environment just outside Almunge, approximately three miles from Uppsala. The residence serves individuals within LSS person category 1 and offers a safe and supportive environment with 24-hour staffing and night personnel. The focus is on promoting social activities and physical activity outside the home, giving residents opportunities for an active and meaningful daily life. About the Role of Support Educator As a support educator, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both in the home and in leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that each resident has the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to address each person's individual needs and conduct educational work based on this. Since needs vary among the residents, no two days are alike, which contributes to a challenging and exciting job. You will work closely with residents alongside your colleagues and have significant responsibility for, in consultation with the operations manager, driving and developing the educational work at the facility. Certain delegated health and care tasks are part of the role. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see individuals' needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Degree from support educator education (200 YH credits or 60 HP in pedagogy). Experience and knowledge of the LSS target group for adults in person category 1. Basic knowledge of household work such as nutrition and hygiene. Computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Category B driving license. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in work management. Experience working with people with autism and challenging behavior. Experience with alternative and augmentative communication and low-arousal approaches. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms of Employment Employment type: Permanent position. Position: 95% full-time. Working hours: Day, evening & weekends. Start date: By agreement; we welcome you starting soon.
