This also includes maintaining unit facilities, meal preparation, and shopping. The work includes actively implementing and developing methodological approaches. The work involves care work and managing challenging situations. We work solution-focused at the unit. You will work both as part of a team and independently. Since you will mentor colleagues in pedagogical development work, it is important that you feel confident and have a genuine interest in working with people and developing pedagogical methods. Working hours are irregular, including days, evenings, on-call, nights, and weekends. The work is highly varied and looks different from day to day depending on which children/youth are present on any given day. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining close and good cooperation with guardians, relatives, schools, and other professionals within healthcare. Other Tasks: Ensure quality of services based on users' support needs. Provide guidance in methods and strategies within the work team. Your Experience You are an educated support pedagogue or have equivalent pedagogical education, such as post-secondary education of 200 YH or 60 HP within functional impairment/behavioral science. Good knowledge of pedagogical methods, such as clarifying pedagogy. Fluent command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills. Experience in establishing and following up on implementation plans and other social documentation. Experience actively working as a support pedagogue within LSS for children and youth, or as a support pedagogue within LSS for adults. Knowledge of low-arousal approaches. Experience working with welfare technology and ensuring quality of work. Knowledge and experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Meritorious: Previous experience working with children and youth with functional variations. Is This You? Experience with independent work with your own structure as well as close teamwork with different professions. Knowledge of evidence-based methods, welfare technology, and health-promoting approaches, and the ability to meet each individual based on their abilities. What We Offer With us, you have the opportunity for varied work with a broad target group. You have the opportunity to plan and structure your own work based on your assignment. You actively participate in driving change and development work. About the Workplace At short-term stays and supervision, we work to provide support to children, youth, and young adults with functional variations. The work is varied and highly developmental as you meet a broad spectrum of intellectual disabilities, autism, and ADHD diagnoses at the unit. We offer environmental change and recreation for the individual—and relief for the family member. Support is individually tailored and based on the individual's needs to ensure good living conditions and a good life. It is built on active interest from us and a willingness to listen and understand. Through motivating and practical supporting measures, we help people meet and manage various situations in daily life with the goal that they live as independently as possible based on their abilities. Support is provided both in the unit's facilities and in everyday activities out in the community. Other Tasks: Ensure quality of services based on users' support needs.
