Support Pedagogue Needed for Short-term Care/Residential Units under LSS

We are seeking support pedagogues for our short-term care/residential units under LSS in the municipality of Lund. Do you want to support our service users toward a meaningful and active life? Then perhaps you are one of our new team members? About the role and responsibilities As a support pedagogue, you work to improve and mentor in pedagogical work. You work as part of the work team where routine tasks occur while you serve as an extra support for colleagues. As a support pedagogue, you have dedicated time for pedagogical work, which may include mentoring colleagues in challenging work situations, staying updated on the latest research on clarification pedagogy, mentoring in documentation, or collaborating with other support pedagogues. The assignment also includes establishing and designing implementation plans, as well as documenting and contributing to maintaining good quality in operations. You will work supporting our service users in daily life with care, leisure, and cultural activities. The unit collaborates with nearby day activities where you also have the opportunity to provide support as needed together with other colleagues. To succeed in this role, you embody our values of listen, learn, and lead, where together with our support assistants and pedagogical coordinators, you support our service users to live the life they wish. We are looking for someone who is positive, innovative, and able to see the individual's development and potential. Great importance is placed on your experience with this target group and your knowledge of low-arousal approaches. You need to enjoy working flexibly as the units collaborate regarding staffing and personnel allocation. About us Short-term care is for people with disabilities who no longer have the right to after-school programs but who still have a need for them. Care is offered before and after school, as well as during breaks and study days, and is aimed at people from 13 years old until they graduate from upper secondary school. Short-term care offers relaxing and active leisure activities that provide both physical and mental stimulation where service users have the opportunity to socialize with other young people under adult supervision. Short-term residential stays allow people with disabilities to have a change of environment while their relatives receive respite care. We serve both children and adults, and our service users are offered stays both during weekdays and weekends. The stay provides the service user with a change of environment, stimulation, and community with others and can also be good training for those who wish to move away from home. The units serve children, young people, and young adults, and the current unit serves service users from 13 years old and up. Operations are open 24 hours every day of the week, which means you will work irregular hours, including every other weekend, and on-call shifts may occur. Experience working with this target group and in LSS operations. Strong knowledge and experience with clarification pedagogy/TEACH. Strong knowledge and experience with low-arousal approaches. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Good knowledge of applicable documentation tools. Basic skills in digital work tools. Driver's license is a merit.
