Welcome to us
Hägersten-Älvsjö group and service housing is seeking support pedagogues. This is a new role being established to strengthen pedagogical work and develop methodology in the organization. With us you'll have the opportunity to work in an expanding and development-oriented operation where you're part of a team characterized by high expertise and strong quality awareness. The workplace is located at one of the district's group or service housing facilities.

Your role
As a support pedagogue you have overall responsibility for pedagogical methodology development at the unit and ensure that pedagogical work is conducted in a systematic manner. At the same time you're part of the day-to-day work where you work together with your colleagues to provide service users with support in their daily lives according to their wishes and needs. We work from the service users' homes and accompany them at, for example, doctor's visits and leisure activities. We have ongoing work to increase service users' influence over the support and services we provide.
Your tasks include:
developing approaches to documentation, mapping, and action plans
supporting and mentoring colleagues in work methodology and pedagogy
sharing knowledge about how work with clarifying pedagogy can be designed
together with the unit manager inspire and ensure that evidence-based approaches are used to increase the quality of the operation
contributing to building cognitive support for service users
You report to the unit manager and are part of the unit's network of support pedagogues that meet regularly. Your position is divided into approximately 20 percent planning and leading pedagogical work and 80 percent regular work in group or service housing. Working hours are during daytime, evenings, and weekends, and in some operations on-call night shifts.
Your competence and experience
We're looking for someone with:
- post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 upper secondary vocational education credits or 60 university credits in pedagogy or disability, or a combination thereof
- at least two years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
- experience with documentation
- knowledge of LSS
- knowledge of low-arousal approaches
- good knowledge of the Swedish language and good ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Meritorious for the position:
- further education in neuropsychiatric disabilities
- care and nursing program, child and leisure program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- previous experience leading and/or mentoring others
