We are now seeking a support educator for Annastigen 41, where you'll have the opportunity to combine hands-on work with a special focus on quality and development. YOUR ROLE As a support educator, you have specialized expertise and expanded responsibility within the work team. You support colleagues in creating a holistic perspective on the individual, with a focus on development, participation, and coordination. Beyond the responsibilities all staff members share, you work systematically to ensure quality and develop the organization from both individual and group perspectives. You contribute with pedagogical depth, support in methodological matters, and promote high quality in implementation plans, documentation, and work practices. You also have overall responsibility for ensuring that planning at the facility functions and is followed up, while all staff members are responsible for daily work planning. In your daily work, you are close to the service users and combine pedagogical support with care services. You are a role model in approach, structure, and professional conduct, and contribute to a safe and developmental work environment. The facility operates 24 hours a day, year-round, and work hours are scheduled accordingly. Night shifts occur in the form of on-call nights. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We seek someone with post-secondary education equivalent to at least 200 vocational points or 60 higher education credits focused on functional disabilities and clear connection to work with intellectual, cognitive, or psychological functional disabilities. You have experience working with people with physical, psychological, or intellectual disabilities and/or mental health challenges. You have good knowledge of Swedish and can absorb information, adapt your communication, and document in Swedish. You can demonstrate a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, and have the physical ability to handle the work tasks in the position. It is advantageous to have experience mentoring others and with pedagogical methods, such as clarifying work practices and adapted communication. Knowledge of sign language, Finnish, or Sami is also advantageous. As a person, you are structured and plan, organize, and complete your work. You are results-oriented, see opportunities, find solutions, and contribute ideas that develop the organization and get implemented. You are confident, dare to speak up, and can separate fact from person. You are also collaboration-oriented and work without ego toward common goals. YOUR NEW WORKPLACE Annastigen 41 is a supported living facility with a common meeting place that serves as both the starting point for staff and a place where individuals can meet and socialize. The individuals live in their own apartments in the surrounding area, and support is primarily provided in their own homes. The facility has recently become part of social psychiatry. The target group currently consists of people with support needs under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities). The work has a preventive focus where relationship-building, structure, and a shared approach are important elements. Daily life varies between quiet times, activities, and everyday tasks. Meals such as lunch and dinner are prepared together, and all team members contribute to daily operations. The work team consists of approximately ten staff members who together staff the facility 24 hours a day. Here you work closely together with clear structures, good communication, and continuity as your foundation. GOOD TO KNOW The position is subject to requirements for record disclosure according to law. Prior to a potential employment offer, you must provide an extract from the criminal record register for work with elderly persons or persons with disabilities.
