Your Assignment We help and support the residents with care services based on approved assistance. The work is carried out according to established implementation plans that describe the individual's wishes, needs, and goals. The work includes providing support in all household tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, laundry care, washing, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, and leisure and cultural activities. You will also perform delegated work tasks. Working hours are distributed throughout the day and night and are adapted according to the needs of the operation. Description of the Workplace Stugsund 2 group home is part of the Functional Support operational area within the Welfare sector. We now need to expand our team! Stugsund 2 provides housing for 7 people covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). The overarching goal of the law is to enable individuals to live like everyone else without being limited by their functional limitations. Here you will work together with your colleagues to offer the residents of Stugsund 2 the best possible living conditions. You work closely with your colleagues, your unit manager, and other collaboration partners; collaboration occurs with other operations within the operational area. Your Competence We are looking for someone who is trained as a support educator/support assistant or has completed an approved care and nursing program or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. We would appreciate it if you have previously worked as a support assistant or have experience in care-related and/or educational work as well as delegated healthcare tasks. We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, and secure in your approach. You have a low-affective approach and the ability to meet people with different and sometimes complex ways of communicating and expressing themselves. You are stress-resistant, attentive, and empathetic, and have a professional approach in all interactions. You easily see things from other people's perspectives and can adapt your approach based on the individual's needs and the current situation. You have a holistic perspective and the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work, both independently and together with colleagues. You are confident in making your own decisions and taking responsibility for your tasks, while understanding the importance of following jointly made decisions and carrying out tasks on behalf of others. In your work, you actively contribute to creating an operation with high quality and safety. You are committed to developing both yourself and the operation, take initiative, seek new knowledge, and are open to new ways of working. You identify and report shortcomings and contribute to systematic improvement work. Together with your colleagues, you work to create security, participation, and good care for the people we exist to serve. It is positive if you have experience with PFA, clarifying pedagogy, and low-affective approaches. The work requires communication and documentation. Since computer and telephone are used as work tools, we assume you have computer skills and master Swedish in speech and writing. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
