Activity Description The Department for Functional Support offers support and services to children, youth, and adults with disabilities. We work in accordance with the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and the Social Services Act to strengthen individuals' independence, safety, and participation. The department includes daily activities, housing with special services, supported housing, support and service housing, short-term housing for children, recreational activities, substitute and escort services, and personal assistance. Job Responsibilities As a support assistant/support aide at Fjällsippan, you will work to promote good living conditions for each service user based on their needs, circumstances, and interests. You will support the service user in daily living by working according to the implementation plans that are established and in accordance with the activity's guidelines and objectives. The position also includes responsibilities as a contact person where you, together with the service user, other professionals, and representatives, establish and follow up on work according to the implementation plan. In the activity, we use the documentation system Pulsen Combine. Your work also includes guiding/supporting/accompanying and planning activities as well as providing support to the service user in maintaining their home. In the activity, there are common areas and facilities that you, together with the work team, are responsible for. Qualifications You have nursing care education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge and experience within the field of functional disabilities is advantageous. You must be able to work independently and in collaboration with other staff, and have good interpersonal skills. You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good digital skills. As a person, you are confident and secure in your role and have a good ability to act professionally in all situations that arise. The activity involves physical activities with service users, and you must therefore have basic physical fitness and an interest in planning and performing activities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the scope of the national minority languages act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is advantageous when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
