Description:

Are you our new dedicated colleague? Short-term residential care means a temporary stay with overnight accommodations outside the home for children and young people with disabilities. Fjällripan is located in Torvalla and serves students from elementary school through high school. The facility is divided into two units with a total of eight beds, and each month we serve around thirty individuals. Here we offer residents the opportunity for recreation and a change of environment in a home-like setting after school/leisure time, while providing respite for the entire family. As staff, you provide support based on each individual's needs and abilities. You help residents with their daily lives and create conditions for as independent a life as possible. With us, you become part of a dedicated and positive team of 20 colleagues, where collaboration, laughter, and community are important parts of the work. We are seeking 3–4 support assistants/support staff for permanent positions at 88% with the possibility of working up to 100% within the Disability Services Sector. Start date immediately or by agreement. Working hours are primarily scheduled for afternoons and evenings on weekdays. Therefore, it is important that you are calm, confident, and professional in your approach even under pressure. The work includes both practical support and activities, such as personal hygiene, cleaning, meal preparation, and play. You actively participate in leisure activities both indoors and outdoors year-round, which requires good physical ability.
