Do you want meaningful work where you make a real difference every day? Daily activities within the Disability Services Sector is now seeking five dedicated support assistants/support workers who want to work in a broad, developmental, and varied work environment. With us, you'll play a central role in creating, planning, and developing activities for citizens with various disabilities. The activities are conducted both in our own facilities and in close collaboration with external partners in the community, which provides a dynamic and varied workday. Work is performed in collegial teams with collaboration across multiple worksites. You will initially join our resource pool, which means you work where the need is greatest. This gives you a unique opportunity to learn about different parts of the operation, build broad experience, and develop in your professional role. Our activities are based on a rehabilitative and salutogenic approach where the individual's development, self-determination, and participation are in focus. We invest in your development and offer competence development in areas such as sign language as support and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). You begin your employment in our resource pool, which consists of approximately 20 employees. Here you work as a substitute at several different worksites, covering for planned and emergency absences as well as during training. You may work at different locations during the same week. You will receive introduction at the worksites you work at and are employed by a unit manager, but work according to the operation's needs across multiple parts of the organization. This means you don't have a fixed worksite; instead, you have the opportunity to discover the breadth of daily activities and gather valuable experience from multiple operations. These positions are until further notice at 100% employment. You will work office hours on weekdays, no weekends. Start date by agreement. Your New Job As a support assistant/support worker in daily activities, you'll have meaningful and varied work where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives. You plan, implement, and develop activities based on each individual's needs, with focus on participation, self-determination, and personal development. You support citizens in both work-like tasks and social activities, and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and developmental environment. The work also includes care services according to made decisions, use of cognitive supports, and documentation according to applicable guidelines. You work in close collaboration with colleagues and are an important part of developing the operation's working methods, with a clear focus on a rehabilitative and salutogenic approach. Common Work Tasks Provide support to citizens to perform work tasks Plan and create structure together with citizens Collaboration with companies, colleagues, and networks around the citizen Support citizens with personal hygiene and other care-related services Documentation Your Competence Requirements Education as a support assistant or other education the employer considers equivalent. We would like to see that you have pedagogical education Good knowledge of Swedish in both speaking and writing Good computer skills Driver's license - Category B Meritorious Experience working with people with disabilities Experience in pedagogical work Experience working with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) System experience with Viva, DF-respons, and/or Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook) We Are Looking for You Someone who easily adapts to changed circumstances. Other Criminal Record Certificate If you become a candidate for employment, you will need to provide a criminal record certificate. The certificate is ordered via the Police website, polisen.se. The criminal record certificate to be ordered is "Work with elderly or adults with disabilities". Note that you do not need to send the criminal record certificate with your application.
